What’s the skinny on the skinny jean?

March 14, 2011 in Everyday Fashion, New Trends

Are skinny jeans going out of style? Fashion designers showing their Spring 2011 collections clearly want to push consumers towards the wider pant leg and higher waistline. But many shoppers are not willing to part with the skinny jean or the “jegging” just yet.

Most claim that the only people who look good in them are skinny people. And the only time they actually look good are with 4-inch heels and how many of us are wearing those everyday?

The skinny jean has even become popular in menswear.

There are also skinny cargos and skinny denim designed for children.

But will the skinny jean ever leave? I believe that they have become a denim staple. The reason may be is because skinny jeans are easy to wear in any season.

According to fashion designers, the 70’s wide-leg, high-waist pants are the next trend. Wide-leg jeans are more flattering and are so much easier to wear.  You can wear these jeans with flip-flops, chunky heels, or even wedges and make your legs go on for miles.

The jaw-dropping gowns range from $1000-$4000.The collection holds true to the Urban Outfitter, Free People, and Anthropologie essence. Each gown is tailored to a type of bride. There is a white dress for the trendy, elegant, sophisticated, or even romantic. The goal of BHLDN was to go above and beyond bridal expectation; to build a unique wedding experience.

The BHLDN brand doesn’t limit itself to gowns, but offers special occasion dresses, lingerie, shoes, jewelry, hair adornments, and accessories for a complete and all-encompassing wedding related purchasing paradise. BHLDN digs deep into this monumental moment of marriage and offers charming inspiration with attention to detail.
